Booking Policy

  • BRING PHYSICAL ID WITH YOU (and your child's if they're the client) TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. WE CANNOT PIERCE OR TATTOO WITH NO VALID IDENTIFICATION and this is not due to legal ages, it is mandatory as per our insurance policy and we are not able to bend this rule, if you're not allowed to upload your I.D on our consent form pages we will be required to see it ourselves in person. Make sure to show this I.D to your service provider too, the photo alone is not enough. (If a fake I.D is found to be used we will report it to the police). Examples of ID for child include passport & birth certificate, for 18+ examples include drivers license, passport, citizens card etc. If you fail to provide physical ID for your appointment you are subject to the cancellation fee or potential rescheduling at your artists discretion. If you reschedule or cancel 48 hours prior to your rebooked appointment or no show your rescheduled appointment you are subject to paying the full cancellation fee which is the full service fee. The same applies if you arrive to your rebooked appointment with no valid I.D you are subject to paying the full cancellation fee which is the full service fee.

  • To book a tattoo you must pay a booking fee referred to as a deposit. This will be taken off the total price of your tattoo . It is used to secure your booked time slot and the artists designing time. This fee is always non-refundable.

  • Make sure you do your due research before booking in for a tattoo.

  • If you need to reschedule for any reason you have up to 4 days ahead to move your appointment. If you have to reschedule past the 4 day window your deposit will be lost and you will need to pay one again to rebook.

  • Your design will be shown to you on the day of your appointment.

  • If you require to see it beforehand we require 50% of the total price paid ahead and we offer a free consultation to come see it before your tattoo appointment. This fee is non-refundable as it pays for your design time, even if you decide you don't want the tattoo. If you aren't totally happy with the design you may work with the artist to redesign it for your appointment.

  • Make sure to wear appropriate clothing for the tattoo you are getting, tattoo ink does not come off of clothes and we can’t guarantee your clothes won’t be stained.

  • You don’t want to wear anything tight around the area of your tattoo either, no clothing that will rub harshly against it after you leave the shop.

  • Please do not come early, show up at your scheduled time. This is asked of you due to COVID safety procedures,

  • We ask you to be patient with artists as we are in charge of our own bookings and pricing, we work a lot of hours outside of the shop too. Be prepared to wait for a reply and for your appointment, if you’ve done the proper research into your artist and you have picked them to put some permanent art on your body the wait should be 100% worth it.

  • Please treat us with respect. Any abuse towards our staff will not be tolerated.

  • Please do not haggle the pricing, we charge what we know is fair for the materials used and service provided. We can design you a tattoo to fit your budget but not the other way around

  • Do not show up late to your tattoo appointment or you might lose your appointment.

  • Do not show up drunk, intoxicated in any way, hungover or if you are unwell.

  • We recommend you bring some sugary snacks and drinks to keep your energy up during your tattoo.

  • Children are not allowed in the studio unless they are a client for safety reasons.

  • Please bring no more than 1 emotional support person with you while getting pierced as Dawn's piercing room is not very large & cannot fit many additional people.

  • We do not pierce if a client arrives wearing numbing cream. It can alter the angle of the piercing due to freezing internal layers of tissue and our insurance policy does not cover us to carry out piercing services on any area affected by numbing cream.

  • We do not install jewellery not purchased at Coven as we are not insured to do so. We are happy to custom order jewellery in for you if we don’t have what you’re looking for in stock.

  • Piercing appointments are subject to no-show protection/cancellation fee charges. The cancellation fee is half of your service fee with the exception of consultations & downsizes/jewellery changes which are the full price of £10 or £20 for genital consultations. If there is a breach in acceptance of the booking policy (i.e) you arrive with numbing cream on, you arrive with a child that isn't the client etc. you will be charged the cancellation fee. You can reschedule your appointment once at any time prior to your appointment. If you cancel past the 48 hour time-frame prior to your appointment you will be charged the cancellation fee. If you no-show for your appointment you will be charged the cancellation fee. Should you use a card with no funds or fraudulent details and cancel/no-show for your appointment after that time-frame you won't be allowed to book in with us for any piercings or tattoos again until you pay the fee that is owed directly to the artist. If you are late for more than 7 minutes to your appointment you will be charged this fee too. If you no-show or cancel last minute more than once you will be refused any further service. Our shop is ran by self-employed service providers and we have come up with this system collectively based off industry standards.

  • Make sure you bring I.D as no I.D=no service
